You Gotta Be Smarter Than the Stairs

Yes, I know I am supposed to be working and I really am but I just had to share this amusing story with you all. Okay picture this...I was doing laundry today and washed my duvet cover...so I am attempting to put it back on the bed and get the blanket back inside it. Now, maybe I am just an idiot but I have not yet figured out a way to do this that seems like the right way. It always ends up being thicker in some places and the blanket doesn't reach all the way to the corners in other places. So I spread it out on the bed and start to push the blanket into it...well I decided that I could get it the most straight by climbing inside it and smoothing it out to the edges from the inside...yah, this worked well until I was stuck inside!!!!! 
I am so glad that no one except Riley was around to see me thrashing around inside the duvet cover on my bed and that I am only mildly claustrophic. (Can't even imagine the horror I would have felt if I was stuck in there AND up on top of a tall building!!) I figured while I was stuck I might as well at least get the blanket straight so I did the far edges and then worked my way back which allowed me to find the opening where I had entered the cover in the first place. It was the funniest thing and while I was stuck in there all I could do was laugh my ass off thinking of what it must look like from the outside. Anyway, it was a nice little happy moment in my otherwise anxiety ridden day so I thought I would share with you all...and I have a very important question to pose: How the HELL are you supposed to get the blanket inside the cover and manage to have it straight and even all the way through?
I am sure this question is not bound to provoke the kind of spirited debate that other questions have sparked, however it is of the utmost importance to me...so please help!!! lol
Back to work for me although I have to admit I am going to take one hour off to watch The Bachelor finale tonight. I get all the channels 3 hours early so I get to watch it at 5! I have been so good today...kept the tv on one of those music channels that just plays songs all day and haven't watched anything since scary Maury this morning. YAY ME!!!

That is so funny! I think you have come up with the perfect way to do it and maybe if you keep it up you will also overcome your fear of confined spaces. The perfect bed and no fear what more could you ask for. Anyways, I sure will be glad when you are finished school and a lessening of the headaches. Once you get that out of the way, Bob gets the job with the Saanich Dept. and you find the perfect place to move I think the stress will be much less. Here's hoping things are coming up smelling like roses. XOX Auntie

Hey, Good advice Sandy! It did actually seem to work very well actually once I found my way out of there! Yes, things will be much better in exactly 2 weeks and soon after we will know about either Saanich or Esquimalt so we can figure out what we're doing. Can't wait!!! 
Same what Tara said, My Boxer Dogs would of thought you were playing with them and would of eventually bite/clawed thier own little hole so you could jump out and be free... They Save Lives you know..Smart little dogs they are, yes smart... Anyways funny story I will try to get my wife in that same situation but stand by with a camera so I can view to the family on the reunion we have every year...too funny though, What did your dog do while you were shuffeling around inside??
